What Is Opervian?
Opervian is a vertical CRM system we built to manage the operations of pest control companies end to end. Unlike general-purpose CRMs, it centres on processes specific to this sector — recurring service contracts, field technicians, monitoring stations, biocidal product usage and legal reporting. The goal is to take every visit, every product applied and every document produced out of individuals' memory and turn it into an auditable corporate record.
This need usually becomes clear at these points: recurring visits forgotten on the calendar, paper service forms lost in the field, not knowing which product was applied to which customer and in what amount, and scrambling to gather documents at the last minute when a food-safety audit arrives. Opervian brings order to exactly this chaos.
Recurring Service and Contract Management
Recurring service is the backbone of pest control. Opervian automatically creates service visits at the cycles defined per customer contract (monthly, quarterly, seasonal or custom). Upcoming visits trigger early alerts and overdue ones are flagged in red, so no recurring maintenance slips through and contractual obligations are met on time.
Contract renewal dates, scope and pricing are kept in one place. Contracts due for renewal are listed in advance; customer loss stems from deliberate decisions, not lack of follow-up.
Digital Field Work: Work Orders and Service Forms
Technicians now go into the field with a mobile app instead of paper forms. The method applied, target pest, product used, dose and treated area are recorded on a digital work order; the customer's signature is captured on screen and the order is closed. Adding photos, notes and recommendations for the next visit is possible.
In warehouses, factories and basements where the internet is weak or absent, the app works offline; once a connection returns, all records sync automatically. So the field reality and the system record always match.
Monitoring Stations and Maps
Rodent and insect monitoring stations are numbered and tracked on a site plan or map of the customer location. Scanning the QR code attached to each station instantly opens its location, past inspections and current status. Stations with detected activity are flagged, and trend reports reveal where infestation is concentrating.
This both simplifies operations and provides "provable monitoring" in audits: which station was checked, when and by whom is on record.
Chemical, Biocidal Product and Stock Tracking
Stock, batch/lot numbers, expiry dates and the amount applied per service of the chemicals used are tracked. How much of each product remains, what was used at which customer and the legal usage records are kept automatically. This is critical for both cost control and regulatory compliance.
Legal Reporting, Certificates and Audit Readiness
After each visit, a treatment certificate and detailed service report are generated for the customer automatically and sent by email. For restaurants, hotels, factories and markets undergoing HACCP, ISO 22000 and food-safety audits, the full service history, station plans, product usage records and documents are kept ready in one file per customer. When an audit arrives, you deliver the report in a few clicks instead of hunting for documents.
Field Team, Routes and Management Visibility
The daily schedule is assigned to technicians; route, location and completion status are tracked in real time from the management panel. Which job is done, which is delayed and the team's field efficiency are visible at a glance. Management runs the operation with data, not intuition.
